Dr. Pishotta was born and raised in Central Illinois, and her family recently relocated to Ocala, Florida to get away from the cold Illinois winters. After marrying during her Master’s degree program in Sport Psychology, her husband and she decided to settle down in the Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. She graduated in 2017 from National University of Health Sciences with her degree in Chiropractic while raising her 3 wonderful children with her loving and supportive husband. She opened her own practice right out of school and enjoyed building her practice until selling it in 2022. She was introduced to chiropractic when her daughter with autism and WAGR syndrome was having severe meltdowns that medication did little to nothing to address. Her and her husband reached out to a local pediatric chiropractor, and they were amazed at the results which helped their daughter navigate and understand her surroundings better with chiropractic adjustments. With a 70% decrease in her daughter’s negative behavior in 3 months, it changed their world and their perspective on the capabilities of chiropractic. Chiropractic has transformed her life, and it is Dr. Pishotta’s hope that it will transform every person who experiences chiropractic adjustments. She specializes in Craniosacral, Diversified, Thompson, and Gonstead with additional training in pregnancy, infants with lip and tongue tie or nursing issues, and neuro-diverse children. She enjoys exploring all the wonders of Florida, spending time with friends and family, and watching her children enjoy their activities of choice - horseback riding, gymnastics, and wrestling.
