Mahi is a licensed Acupuncturist and a registered member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. She successfully graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver, where she studied for three years to receive her Diploma in Acupuncture. Mahi’s clinical experience has exposed her to a wide variety of ailments, but her passions are treating acute and chronic pain, gastrointestinal disorders, gynaecological disorders, high blood pressure, migraines and headaches, as well as depression and anxiety, to name a few. She implements traditional Chinese medicine dietary advice into her treatments and is able to perform Cupping therapy, Tui Nai, Gua Sha, Moxibustion and Ear seeds in addition to Acupuncture to help further promote the body into a state of harmony and balance. All forms of treatment are meant to relieve inflammation and pain by activating the part of the midbrain that releases specific neurotransmitters that help the body heal itself. On her free time, Mahi likes to read a good book on health and wellness and have a nice cup of coffee or tea.
