13 Preston West Dr., Enderby, BC, V4Y 4C5
After graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2005, my interest in anatomy and health science lead me to enroll in the 3000 hour, three-year program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy (OVCMT). Since graduating from the program in 2008, I have enjoyed living and practicing in Enderby, BC. I am a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of BC (CMTBC), and a member of the professional association, the Registered Massage Therapists Association of BC (RMTBC). My passion for massage therapy is driven by the challenge of determining the underlying causes of my patients concerns and working with them to set treatment goals and plans that help provide solutions to their pain and dysfunction so that they can feel and perform at their best. Whether they are looking for pain relief, rehabilitation, injury prevention or stress reduction, I will apply my knowledge and skills to personalize their treatment and provide both education and selfcare tools so that patients are empowered in their own healing journey. Some of the techniques I use to achieve results include Functional Assessments, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, End Range Loading, Deep Tissue Therapy, Swedish Massage and Therapeutic Exercise. Out of the clinic I have a busy family life with a husband and 2 young daughters. I enjoy yoga, gardening, camping and being active in the outdoors. My passion for snowmobiling keeps me involved with the local Hunters Range Snowmobile Association.
