Andria has experience working in orthopaedic private practice in Ottawa for the past 13 years. She has experience working with orthopaedic, sports medicine, cancer and chronic illness disorders. She completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario and rostered by the College to perform the controlled act of Acupuncture. Andria believes in being a life long learner and has furthered her skills by becoming a Certified McKenzie therapist. Additionally, she has completed courses in Acupuncture, manual therapy, Vestibular Rehab, myofascial release, Eric Franklin Method, Pain Science, PhysioYoga, APTEI, Mindfulness, Strength and Cancer and many others. She is currently enrolled in the Dr. Vodder School International in order to get her Lymphedema Management Certification. She has had the pleasure of treating patients from a variety of ages and abilities, from competitive athletes, performers and weekend warriors who are experiencing the effects of acute and chronic injuries.
If this is your first time seeing your Physiotherapist for this specific injury or if it is more than 6 months for the same injury, your Physiotherapist must conduct a new assessment. Your appointment will include a thorough assessment, an explanation of your diagnosis and plan, as well as provide treatment. When booking, please book a follow-up visit at the same time in order to ensure your Physiotherapist can see you in a timely manner.
