Lorissa is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist and movement teacher. Inspired by a visit to an Osteopath for an old dance injury, along with her deep curiosity about how the human body moves, Lorissa began her Osteopathic studies in 2021. In April 2025, she received her Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice, graduating with Honours with Distinction. She splits her time between teaching Pilates/GYROTONIC and seeing Osteopathic manual therapy clients. With a background in ballet and dance, Lorissa takes a full-body approach when working with clients, often incorporating movement and breath alongside Osteopathic manual therapy. Her treatments are customized to address individual concerns while increasing the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate. She has a special interest in working with people with hypermobility, as well as prenatal and postpartum moms. In her spare time, you’ll find Lorissa learning how to golf, drinking oat milk lattés, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
