Bump Physio & Co
86 Kyle St, Port Moody, BC, V3H 1Z3
My family and I relocated to Vancouver from Denmark in 2016. My husband received a fantastic job opportunity, and we jumped at the chance to move abroad, embark on an adventure, and broaden our perspectives. Growing up in the Danish countryside instilled in me a love for nature and an active lifestyle through soccer and gymnastics. My interest in sports sparked a fascination with the body, movement, and the importance of physical and mental well-being, which I knew I wanted to explore further. Since graduating from University College Lillebaelt, Odense, Denmark, in 2009, I have primarily worked in orthopedic clinics and as a Pilates teacher. I am passionate about involving my clients in their care and promoting movement, as it significantly impacts a person’s physical and mental well-being. I strive to encourage movement in a way that resonates with each individual. Working at Bump & Co has been my dream for almost three years. I love helping my clients move better every day. Throughout my career, I’ve taken numerous courses to enhance my skills and pursue my interests, including shoulder rehab, Pilates, McKenzie (lumbar A), Pelvic Health Solutions levels 1-3, chronic pain, The Female Athlete with Antony Lo, pre- and postpartum recovery, and IMS. The pelvic floor has always intrigued me due to its close connection with Pilates. I wanted more clinical and personal experience in this area. Having given birth three times, each unique, I deeply appreciate the knowledge and research in pelvic health. I am excited to be part of this knowledgeable team and help you improve your pelvic health. Outside of work, you’ll often find me with my sons at their activities, coffee in hand, running, playing soccer, or enjoying the beautiful nature of British Columbia. I look forward to meeting you!
