Ivy Rong Xiao is a graduate from the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the top TCM universities in China. Awarded with ‘Honor Educated Student’ for the bachelor’s degree of medicine, she was invited to work at the university hospital, integrating both Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine philosophy. After immigrating to Canada, she worked as a medical researcher in the Obstetrics & Gynecology field, before becoming a General Registered TCM practitioner and Acupuncturist in 2013 at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Ivy also graduated from Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada Science in 2018 and became an RMT in Ontario. Due to her strong medical background and clinic experiences, Ivy has a strong sense in applying treatment methods for infertility and gynecological disorders. She consistently diagnoses the primary symptoms early, before giving clients the accurate diagnosis and precise treatment procedures needed in both infertility acupuncture and prenatal & postpartum massage. Additionally, as a warm, caring, and experienced practitioner, Ivy is very amicable in creating positive client relations. She always conducts clients care and determines the nature of a client’s condition. Her practice emphasizes the harmony interactions between human beings and nature, devising appropriate treatment plans to gain its maximal effects.

Acupuncture
In your initial session, the practitioner will go through your health history, discuss the reasons for your visit and any concerns you may have, and then proceed with the treatment. Some examples of what can be treated with acupuncture may include all types of pain (both chronic or acute), headaches, neck stiffness, frozen shoulder, sciatica, stomach pain / digestive issues, nausea, low milk supply, mastitis, and fertility challenges. Treatment is performed by a Licensed Acupuncturist.
