Aren is proudly from Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. His passion for running, inclusiveness, health and community wellness are some of the main reasons he became a Physiotherapist. As a Physiotherapist, Aren’s treatment approach is grounded in building a positive environment around you while respecting your unique situational needs. He uses a client-specific approach that focuses on client education, graded exercise programs that are specific to you, and manual therapy to help empower clients to move safely, confidently, and freely so that they can live their lives the way they want to. Aren has had experience working in a variety of settings that include, Orthopaedics, Intensive Care Unit, Acute Medicine and has treated a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries such as low back pain, knee, ankle and foot pain, and shoulder/neck pain. Finally, Aren has a preferred area of interest in the treatment of runners. Whether you’re new to running or have been running for many years, Aren is looking forward to providing you with the knowledge and tools that can help you manage and prevent injuries so that you can move and run free. Outside of the clinic, Aren lives by what he preaches and can often be found doing what he moved out west for – running along Vancouver’s beautiful running paths.

You'll want to book one of these if you are looking to have a physiotherapist provide an assessment that focuses on running related injury prevention, running performance or someone who is new to running. Please note that this assessment is specific to running. Should you require an assessment for other injuries, please book the regular Initial - Physiotherapy Assessment. If this injury is part of an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, please go back and book an ICBC or WSBC assessment.
