Nina is a graduate from The University of Scranton where she received her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2007 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Nina has over 13 years of clinical experience and has worked in outpatient orthopedic, acute rehabilitation and inpatient settings. Her clinical experience in various settings has given her the opportunity to further her knowledge in orthopedic, neurology and sports rehabilitation. As a former athlete, Nina continues to be very active and takes a special interest in helping patients return to their sport or recreational activity. She strongly believes in patient education and providing her patients with knowledge of their condition, how to manage symptoms and prevent re-injury. Nina uses a combination of manual therapy techniques including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, active-release technique and muscle energy techniques along with functional strengthening, kinesio-taping and modalities to promote healing and help patients return to their prior level of function. She continues to enhance her clinical skills with continuing education courses.
