Therapeutic Body Concepts

Therapeutic Body Concepts

Hello! My name is Kristie. I have been a massage therapist for 15 years,, having completed my 2200-hour training at CDI College in 2012. In 2022, I furthered my education by graduating as a Manual Osteopathic Therapist from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada. My massage style ranges from light to moderately deep pressure, incorporating deep tissue techniques (which can be adjusted to any pressure level). I also specialize in dynamic cupping, therapeutic and relaxation massage, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, stretching, and trigger point therapy. Additionally, I am now a certified Rapid NeuroFascial Reset specialist. Kristie does not do extra deep pressure, or treat people under 15 years old

Lymphatic Drainage

Therapeutic Body Concepts: Therapeutic Body Concepts - North

4363 167 Ave NW, 303, Edmonton, AB, T5Y 3Y2

60 Minute Manual Lymphatic Drainage Treatment

MLD involves the use of gentle manual maneuvers to aid in the recirculation of body fluids. While the exact amount of pressure applied depends on the area and pathology involved, it usually equates to very little pressure. Using this technique, trained therapists are able to detect the specific rhythm, direction, depth, and quality of the lymph flow anywhere in the body.
