Rachel earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University. Her experiences as a former competitive cross-country and track and field athlete have helped her develop a deep understanding of injury recovery and injury prevention. These experiences have provided valuable insight into the physical and mental challenges athletes face and have helped drive her passion for helping others overcome similar obstacles and achieve their peak performance, both on and off the field. Rachel is focused on optimizing recovery times and developing personalized rehabilitation programs that help athletes not only return to their sport but also improve their strength and mobility to promote injury prevention. Rachel is committed to staying at the forefront of physiotherapy practice to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date and effective care possible. Rachel’s passion for movement and fitness extends beyond the clinic. Whether she’s running, going to the gym, playing tennis or volleyball, or watching sports, she remains actively engaged in the athletic community.
The physiotherapist will assess the issue by testing the area of concern. Once they have established the diagnosis and the best course of action, they will commence treatment which can include: manual therapy, acupuncture, exercises, and other forms of care.
