Melissa is a registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, practicing since 2014. She is passionate about helping folks bring balance to their digestive, hormonal and nervous systems. Melissa is an instructor at Pacific Rim College, teaching courses like TCM Food Therapy and TCM Herbal Pharmacology. She loves the opportunity to share Chinese medicine perspectives with those coming in for treatments, ask if you ever want to learn more! Prior to studying Chinese Medicine, Melissa completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Psychology. She is most drawn to the holistic approach of TCM and loves customizing each treatment - employing acupuncture, food therapy, cupping, ear seeds, and herbal medicine, depending on the needs of each individual. Melissa has developed a very gentle needling technique. Her acupuncture sessions offer a moment of rest and relaxation.

Includes a thorough health history and treatment plan. Treatment includes acupuncture and possibly cupping, gua sha, food therapy or home care recommendations based on client needs. Treatments may also include herbal recommendations.
