Nick Andres Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BSc Kin, Dry Needling (IMS) Certified Nick is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Master of Physical Therapy program (2023) and the University of Victoria’s Bachelor of Kinesiology program (2019). Having grown up in Campbell River, he is excited to be working in his hometown as part of the team at Active Living Physiotherapy. Nick has passion for sports and the outdoors, enjoying activities such as skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, running, and weightlifting. These pursuits have kept him active and have given him a first hand understanding of the challenges that come with injury and recovery. He has a particular interest in treating sports injuries, and helping individuals overcome everyday aches and pains to improve their quality of life. Nick has completed post-graduate training in custom bike fitting to help cyclists stay comfortable and efficient in the saddle, as well as post-graduate training in the assessment and treatment of spinal conditions. Nick’s treatment philosophy is rooted in collaboration. He believes in building treatment plans and goals in partnership with his clients, empowering them to be active participants in their care. He places a strong emphasis on education, ensuring his clients understand their condition to make confident, informed decisions about their health. Nick’s approach includes hands on manual therapy and exercise based treatment to get his clients moving and feeling confident.
