From a young age, Dr. Julia knew she wanted to be a physical therapist. This dream led to her earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from LSU and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from TWU. Dr. Julia then went on to become a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. She has completed more than two hundred hours of ongoing dance-specific continuing education. Including reformer and mat Pilates, as well as achieving certifications in dry needling, Progressing Ballet Technique, and more. In addition to serving on the Auxiliary Board for ATTPAC, she is an Adjunct Professor of Dance Kinesiology at SMU- Meadows, and partners with several dance companies throughout DFW as their staff physical therapist.
