Meagan is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from Guelph-Humber University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2014. She then pursued a diploma in Massage Therapy and graduated from Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School and Teaching clinic in 2016. Meagan has completed additional training in understanding breast surgery due to breast cancer and elective breast surgery. Throughout this training she has learned how Massage Therapy can help patients recover from breast surgery. Massage Therapy can help improve range of motion, return to activities, increase strength and manage pain. Meagan is trained in Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage Level 1- Practical. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) techniques can help with mild post-surgical swelling. The light and gentle techniques of MLD have a relaxing, calming effect as well as a pain-relieving effect on the nervous system. Outside of the clinic Meagan enjoys spending time with family, going to the farmers market and hiking in Hockley Valley.
