Shayne graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics. His passion for rehabilitation stems from his own experiences with injuries as a competitive soccer player, inspiring him to help others move confidently, overcome setbacks, and continue doing the activities that matter most to them. Shayne has experience working with clients of all ages in private clinics, hospitals, and sporting environments. He takes a collaborative approach to care, combining education, hands-on treatment, and individualized exercise programs to help people recover from injury, optimize performance, and build resilience for an active, healthy life. He is passionate about the role physiotherapy plays not only in injury recovery, but also in injury prevention and healthy aging. Committed to lifelong learning, Shayne regularly pursues post-graduate education with recognized leaders in physiotherapy. His training includes Manual Therapy, the Mulligan Concept, Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Active Release Techniques, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Lumbar Spine), TMJ Dysfunction, and the Treatment and Prevention of Running Injuries. Outside the clinic, Shayne enjoys reading, playing guitar, and staying active through running, golf, and soccer. Shayne est diplômé de l’Université d’Ottawa, où il a obtenu une maîtrise en sciences de la santé en physiothérapie ainsi qu’un baccalauréat en sciences de l’activité physique. Son intérêt pour la réadaptation provient de ses propres blessures comme joueur de soccer compétitif. Sa mission est d’aider les gens à bouger avec confiance, à surmonter les blessures et à rester actif. Il a de l’expérience auprès de clientèles de tous âges en clinique privée, ainsi qu’en milieu hospitalier et sportif. Il adopte une approche collaborative, combinant éducation, thérapie manuelle et exercices personnalisés pour aider ses patients à récupérer, améliorer leur performance et demeurer actifs. Il s’intéresse particulièrement à la prévention des blessures et au maintien d’un mode de vie sain et fonctionnel. Engagé dans le développement professionnel continu, Shayne a complété plusieurs formations post-graduées, notamment en thérapie manuelle, concept Mulligan, dry needling, réadaptation vestibulaire, Active Release Techniques, la méthode McKenzie (lombaire), gestion de douleur de la máchoire (“TMJ”), ainsi que la gestion de blessures de course à pied. En dehors de la clinique, il reste actif avec la course à pied, le golf et le soccer.
