I am a passionate and active Physiotherapist in Squamish. I have been practicing for 18 years, graduating with a Masters of Physiotherapy from University of British Columbia. Previously I earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, Exercise Science from University of British Columbia. Having worked as a Team Physiotherapist with the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team and Canada Snowboard, I have been involved with elite level national team athletes on the international stage. I am certified in Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS) through the UBC School of Medicine, and certified in Acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI). I have completed Orthopaedic Manual Therapy courses with the National Orthopaedic Division, and have pursued additional training in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Real Time Ultrasound and Bike Fit. I have worked as a Physiotherapist internationally, in major city centers and in countless mountain towns. I am passionately inclusive, I love the diversity of working with people of all ages, interests and abilities. Helping people understand their body, the healing process and the steps necessary to get back to what they love most is what motivates me. I take pride in my ability to educate, treat, support and advocate for my clients. In addition to Physiotherapy, I am a certified Apprentice Ski Guide through the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. I am a passionate skier, mountain biker, trail runner and mountain athlete. Having grown up as a competitive triathlete and runner; I know what it is like to be injured. If I’m not working, I am with my family, chasing my daughter who is living her best active toddler life in Squamish!
