Antonietta Galati RMT, D.Pod.M. Registered Chiropodist/Foot Specialist Registered Massage Therapist Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (Current Study) Antonietta is a Chiropodist registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. She completed her Honours of Kinesiology degree at York University and then earned her diploma in Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Wanting to expand her knowledge, she continued to earn her Advanced Graduate Diploma of Podiatric Medicine from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences at UHN in Toronto. Since graduating in 2010, Antonietta has worked not only in private practice, but at the Michener Institute as clinical faculty and as Continuing Education lead facilitator of Management of Diabetes and the Lower Limb. She has worked on research projects with the Telewound Supercluster, presenting her collective research at the Symposium of Advanced Wound Care in Las Vegas in 2023, presented at the Ontario Society of Chiropodists Conferences and provided hands-on workshops for manual therapy and taping for lower limb conditions. She works with the Athletic Therapy department at York University, providing lectures to students on foot mechanics and footwear. This year Antonietta has returned to education for Osteopathic Manual Therapy at the Sutherland-Chan School of Osteopathy (formerly Canadian College of Osteopathy) in Toronto. A big focus of Antonietta’s practice is gait analysis and footwear matching for patients’ needs and activities, as well as incorporating hands-on techniques for common lower limb conditions, utilizing the skills she has currently learned in her Osteopathic Manual Therapy courses. Antonietta uses her experience in assessment and treatment to provide care to a multitude of patient populations and conditions.
