Dr. Daniel Keller PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, Cert TPI Dr. Dan is a founder of WNY Fitness and Rehabilitation Institute, “The Institute”, and a graduate of the University at Buffalo, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He helped establish a progressive and comprehensive solution for non-traditional physical therapy clients, creating a systematic approach with a classification system that ensures individualized treatment for each patient. With his in-depth knowledge of biomechanics, Dan helps athletes enhance their performance, prevent injuries, and recover more quickly. By integrating elements of the McKenzie Method (MDT), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Pilates, and Neurodynamics, he tailors programs that address both acute and chronic conditions, promoting long-term health and mobility. Dan discovered his passion for physical therapy through his involvement in sports such as soccer, baseball, and swimming. He remains active with his two kids, enjoying outdoor adventures that include running, biking, golf, and coaching his son’s little league baseball team.
