Susan Jones has worked for over a decade in orthopaedic physiotherapy - treating many conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, joint pain, repetitive strain disorders, tendinitis, bursitis, sciatica, low back pain and post-surgical recovery. She likes to a use a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture and customised exercise routines to maximise recovery and avoid re-injury. Susan completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. She also completed a BSc in Biology and a BA in Psychology. After completing her Physiotherapy degree, she attained her acupuncture certification with the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program. She continued in advanced courses specialising in neuro-functional acupuncture, used to optimize the function and healing of the muscles, leading to faster recovery. She is also certified in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, helping women with issues such as incontinence and prolapse. Outside of work, Susan enjoys running, playing tennis, watching movies and being in the sunshine. Her sporting background includes Varsity Athletics - competing and training in Squash, Swimming and Track and Field.
