Art of Mobility
Hi, I’m Mowni, a Chiropractor with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a focus on Kinesiology and a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences. My passion for rehabilitation started with my own fitness journey and a deep curiosity to uncover how the human body works in perfect harmony. Growing up, I played a ton of soccer and began weight training, a practice I still continue today. Any injury I faced left me feeling like my body was betraying me, limiting my progress. These challenges taught me the importance of active rehabilitation in recovery, a lesson I now share with my patients. My approach to care is patient-centred, with a focus on education and empowering individuals to take charge of their health and unlock their full potential. I emphasize active care, incorporating techniques like soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, joint manipulations, and dry needling. I believe that movement and mobility are key to living a healthier, happier life. Outside the clinic, I’m often weight training or hiking with my Great Dane. I’m also working up the courage to start running—and who knows, maybe I’ll try a half marathon by the end of the year!
