In 2010, Emma graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). In 2007, she received her undergraduate degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY while playing NCAA Division I Women’s Hockey with the Golden Knights. She returned to Canada and began her physiotherapy practice in the Mississauga area before moving to Ottawa in the fall of 2015. Since graduating she has completed additional training, including certifications in Acupuncture and dry needling, pain science and is a Certified Manipulative Therapist (Swodeam Institute). She has been further her education and clinical skills with clients who have Hypermobility Syndrome or Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Emma has a special interest in sports specific training and rehabilitation. She enjoys keeping her clients active, training and achieving their personal goals. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care that guides her clients to achieve their goals and return to their daily lives without symptoms. She utilizes a combination of interventions based upon your needs and goals, including education, manual therapy, acupuncture and dry needling accompanied with a home strength and mobility program.
