99 St NW, Unit #3663, Edmonton, AB, T6E6C8

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Brendan is the Director of Rehabilitation and the Head of Physiotherapy at ORKA Performance - Edmonton. He holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy, as well as a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Sports Performance, both from the University of Alberta, competing for the Golden Bears Track and Field team during his undergraduate degree. Prior to graduating from his Masters’s program, Brendan worked in the field of athlete performance as a strength and conditioning coach in the private sector as well as with University of Alberta Rugby. Brendan’s passion is deeply rooted in athlete health and performance, having worked with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes throughout his career in a wide domain of sports, both in injury rehabilitation and improving athletic performance. He recognized a gap in how athletes were being rehabilitated after injuries, with many athletes returning to competition under-prepared both physically and mentally for the demands of their sport, or in some cases under-prepared for what life looks like after competitive sport. Brendan’s aim as a physical therapist is to bridge that gap, helping athletes return to what they love performing at their absolute best, and surpassing their previous performances while reducing their risk of future injuries. He recognizes both the physical and psychological challenges an injury can bring and believes in a multi-faceted, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation to combat those challenges. Brendan is on the Physiotherapy Alberta roster for both dry needling and spinal manipulation and holds certifications in the McGill Method (Levels 2 and 3), Rock Tape Levels 1 and 2, as well as in Pain Science and Biomechanics. He has a special interest in treating knee injuries, specifically ACL injuries and reconstructions as well as other athletic injuries. Brendan hopes to positively impact and empower his clients to become the strongest version of themselves and return to performance in the domains that are most meaningful to them.”
