Dr. O’Hara works together with her patients to restore symmetry of function by optimizing mobility, strength and co-ordination. Discussion of lifestyle issues, nutrition and exercise are part of her approach; she readily refers as needed to her wide network of health care professionals. Gentle instrument-assisted adjusting (The Activator Method), traditional spinal and non-spinal manipulation/mobilization and soft tissues techniques are her preferred methods of treatment. The latter include myofascial trigger point therapy, applied kinesiology and the Graston technique for releasing fascial restrictions. Dr. O’Hara is a 1982 cum laude graduate of Toronto’s Canadian MemorialChiropractic College. Prior to this she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana’s Ball State University and completed graduate coursework at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 1989 she opened the multi-disciplinary clinic, Bloor-Avenue Chiropractic, and practiced there until her transition to ONE80health in December 2020.
