Melissa Hatud, RMT, graduated from the 3,000-hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2013. She began her career in Richmond at Active Massage Therapy, where she worked for over 10 years. Melissa treats a wide range of conditions, including tension headaches, neck and shoulder pain, chronic pain, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. She believes that intentional movement is key to maintaining a healthy mind and body. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors on a nice day, playing basketball, pickleball, and golf, cycling, and spending time with family.
Initial treatment is only for clients who have not been to Sense Massage Therapy before. During the initial treatment, therapist will spend more time focusing on history and examination to get a complete understanding of your condition. Hands-on time will be shortened due to history taking.
