I moved to Colorado in the late 1990's to attend Naropa University and received my degree in Environmental Studies. Next I decided to shift my focus from planetary healing to a more personal level and attended Crestone Healing Arts Center in 2001 to study the healing arts. It was there that I fell in love with the peaceful and majestic vastness of Southern CO and I stayed to build my own Earthship while practicing massage at Joyful Journey Hot Springs and with private clients. I came to live in Salida in 2019 and have enjoyed every minute of working with the wonderful people in this community!
Massage Therapy
Take your a massage to the next level of relaxation, lying on top of a gemstone therapy mat which provides Far Infrared, Negative Ion, PEMF (pulsed electro-magnetic field) and Photon Light Therapies all in one! Temporarily enhances local circulation, relaxes muscles and joints and takes your massage to a deeper level with custom settings for heat control.
Acupuncture
AcuDetox involves inserting needles into 5 acupuncture points in both ears which serves to support: healthier sleep, pain relief, recovery from addiction and/or trauma or to simply help relief anxiety and stress from everyday life. These acupuncture points work together to calm the sympathetic nervous system and stimulate the organs of elimination. The client remains completely clothed for this highly relaxing treatment and it also includes foot and/or hand reflexology to further enhance the experience.
Reflexology
Start with a warm footpath infused with Epsom salts and move to the heated massage table and receive a complete reflexology session. You will be fully clothed for this treatment. The theory behind reflexology is that areas of the foot correspond to organs and systems of the body. Applying pressure with massage not only makes your feet feel great but also the whole body!
