Amber Wood, Registered Acupuncturist & Licensed Osteopathic Therapist Amber works with those who want to trust their body, feel at home in their skin and live a full, vital life. If you suffer from back, neck or pelvic pain, digestive discomfort, sleep issues, or anything stress exacerbates you are in the right place. Amber understands injuries and complex health presentations. She loves helping people know their bodies better and providing ways to be more at ease. If you are fed up with being in pain, having low energy or brain fog, you are in the right place. Her studies began in Nelson 25 years ago. She graduated from Pacific Rim College in 2011 as a licensed acupuncturist and in 2016 finished a 16 month Functional Medicine training at the Kresser Institute in Berkeley, California. In 2026, Amber completed a second 14 month program and graduated with a license in manual osteopathic therapy. When Amber is not in the clinic you'll likely see her on her bike, in the mountains with her son or on a dance floor.
