Nadine Mann Founder of Moonstar Massage + Wellness, Licensed Massage Therapist, BodyMind Method Certified Coach, Reiki II Practitioner, Certified Equine Massage Therapist, Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher Nadine Mann grew up on ranches in central Montana and finds inspiration in Mother Natures rhythms and healing cycles, especially with the Moon. Like the lunar phases, the mind, body and spirit have cycles of activity and recovery that are greatly assisted with massage and energy therapies. A natural-born nurturer and intuitive, Nadine offers a deep, loving presence and therapeutic bodywork for humans and horses seeking recovery, relaxation, and pain relief. Her vision is to help each client feel at home in their own body through assessing and providing support for releasing stagnation in the body. She seeks to be inclusive, present, continuously educated, research-based and intuitively lead, and to honor each client she assists with integrity. Nadine first became interested in massage as a student athlete, using Shiatsu techniques on her teammates, family, dogs, and ranch horses. After graduating from Montana State University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences Teaching, she taught 7-12th graders for 7 years in Montana and Wyoming, focusing on health and wellness, fashion, nutrition, and family and communication studies. To combat the burnout of teaching, she sought massage therapy and energy healing treatments, which led her interests further into the world of alternative and preventative therapies. In 2017, she became a Usui Reiki practitioner and in 2018, Nadine followed a calling to study massage therapy at the Costa Rica School of Massage, a US accredited and accelerated program. She continued traveling globally, studying massage in Thailand, Reiki and intuitive practices in India, and Reiki for horses in Ireland, and moved to Sedona in late 2019, where she continues to work at a resort spa and with her Moonstar clients. In 2020, she also worked with horses at a local Sedona ranch and became a Certified Equine Massage Therapist through Therasage EMC. In 2021, she joined Laura Wieck's BodyMind Method Coaching Certification program, which shifted her approach to the powerful transformation of intentional conversation. She received her certification in July 2023 and continues to participate in the alumni program. Nadine specializes in a blend of Swedish relaxation, deep tissue massage and active release therapy for clients with chronic pain, active lifestyles, or those in need of restorative healing for the mind, body, and soul. Each session is typically a blend of bodywork and coaching modalities, depending on the clients goal and what is most supportive for the body at that time. She also offers specific sessions in BodyMind Method Coaching, myofascial release, Lomi Lomi massage, and Reiki chakra balancing, as well as equine massage and Reiki for recreational and performance horses and dogs.
