Mathieu received his Bachelors of Science Majoring in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2018. He has taken continuing education courses in Concussion assessment and treatment Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation as well as being a Certified PoNS Trainer. Mathieu is well versed in treating several neurological conditions including concussions (including sport-related concussion), vestibular conditions and individuals with other balance and gait challenges. His favourite areas to treat include concussion rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and athletic performance. He is a big believer in targeting all aspects of health when it comes to rehab, and individualizing programs to client needs. Throughout his practice as a Certified PoNS Trainer, Mathieu has had the opportunity to work with clients recovering from mild-moderate traumatic brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and Stroke. He is extremely passionate about helping clients achieve the best version of themselves and restoring quality of life. When not treating clients, Mat can be found going on hikes with his dog Kuma, on the ice rink playing Hockey or on the golf course enjoying the sunshine.
