Dr. Rebecca Fidler was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. She loves exploring the outdoors, and obtains a passion for helping people feel and move their best so they can do the same. She achieved her Bachelors of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia- Okanagan Campus all the while enjoying the larger terrain of mountains to explore. Throughout her studies, she helped to create and execute an exercise program for the residents of a brain injury transitional center, as well as helped out at a cardiac rehabilitation center monitoring vitals, fitness testing and medical data-basing. Her interest in being a health-care provider with a sports emphasis lead her South to California’s Palmer College of Chiropractic- San Jose Campus, and a member of their prestigious Sports Council. While at Chiropractic College, she had the privilege of providing care at Monterey’s Sea Otter Classic, NorCal Crossfit Regional Championships, NorthFace Endurance Challenge and Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon. She was also honored to be able to serve Veterans during her extended internship at the Northern California Veterans Hospital. This was important to her because of her husbands’ involvement with the Army Reserves as a combat medic of which places her within the Military family. Family is very important to her, and she treats all her patients as such with regards to care. She is a mother of a beautiful toddler and has gained the firsthand experience of how chiropractic can help throughout pregnancy, along with the very early moments of life and beyond. The experience taken from all her diverse working environments has helped shape her into as passionate and well-rounded chiropractor. She looks forward to helping you gain a healthier and happier version of you. “Doctor” is derived from Latin, meaning “to teach.” Dr. Fidler found her passion in teaching during her snowboard instructing days at a local Canadian ski-hill as soon as she was licensed to drive as a teenager. She is now able to teach others how to be able to enjoy the things they love, with an overall better quality. The teaching will always continue during your care with Dr. Fidler. It is important to her that you have a core understanding of your body, how it works, and why Chiropractic care will help in your individualized case.
