Jewelz earned her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, in 2009. There, she trained extensively in the five branches of TCM: Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Tui Na Massage, Qi Gong, and Dietetics. She further expanded her studies through clinical externships in both China and Thailand, deepening her understanding of the traditional roots and global practice of Eastern medicine. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of conditions, including fertility support, prenatal and postpartum care, injury and post-surgical rehabilitation, hormone balancing, chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, digestive and metabolic disorders, and stress-related concerns. As a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Jewelz takes an integrative, whole-body approach to health, blending Eastern and Western perspectives to help identify and address the root causes of imbalance. This 60-minute new patient visit includes a comprehensive Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) evaluation focused on one primary health concern, followed by your first treatment. Your practitioner will review your health history, assess your current symptoms, and create a personalized treatment plan with clear recommendations and next steps. This appointment is ideal for new patients seeking care for a single condition or concern, such as neck or back pain, headaches, stress, digestive issues, or a sports injury. If you have multiple concerns, a complex medical history, or are looking for a more comprehensive Functional Medicine and TCM evaluation, we recommend booking our 90-minute Comprehensive New Patient Appointment to allow ample time for a thorough assessment and treatment. This appointment is for new patients only. If you are an established chiropractic patient, please speak with your doctor for a referral to schedule the acupuncture appointment as a return patient appointment.
