Rebecca is a Registered Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and a Perinatal Health Advocate. Rebecca has a passion for supporting women’s health throughout the lifespan. She educates adolescent females in local school systems, provides pregnant and postpartum women with evidence informed client-centred care and guides post-menopausal women throughout their physical activity and social participation achievements. Rebecca takes a holistic approach to pelvic health physiotherapy- emphasizing the balance of all influencers and their functions on the pelvic floor muscles. Rebecca’s own journey throughout pregnancy and postpartum has aided in her self-reflection, both professionally and personally, in order to better empathize and collaborate with her clients. Her vision is to establish a welcoming relationship with all clients in a shared safe space. Rebecca completed her specialization in pelvic floor physiotherapy over four years ago. Since then, she has developed a sense of warmth and pride for the treatment of all pelvic health symptoms, inquiries and dysfunction(s) for both men and women. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to labour and delivery preparation and empowerment for birthing women and their partners. Rebecca’s personal and professional goal for this community is to establish an individualized core postpartum program designed to facilitate a trusted avenue for all things postpartum and a sense of motherhood bonding and belonging. She is excited to grow with and alongside you at The Womb Bruce County!
