Mika is a graduate of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at Mount Royal, drawn to the profession by her passion for healthcare and meaningful human connection. She provides hands-on, therapeutic care in a welcoming environment, helping clients address musculoskeletal concerns while leaving each session feeling relaxed, restored, and rejuvenated. Her treatments are known for their smooth, thoughtful flow, blending therapeutic intent with deep relaxation. Mika frequently incorporates myofascial release to improve mobility, reduce tension, and create longer-lasting results by addressing the fascia before deeper muscular work. Mika believes long-term wellness comes from listening to the body and addressing concerns early. She encourages consistency with movement, self-care, and massage to support both physical health and the nervous system, helping clients feel balanced and at ease. Outside the treatment room, Mika enjoys fitness and strength training, long walks, and Japanese media and culture. One of her recent reads is Chainsaw Man, a Japanese manga she enjoys for its creative storytelling and exploration of themes like human connection, identity, and meaning. She brings a calm, attentive, and client-centered approach to every treatment, creating a safe space where clients feel heard and supported. Languages: English (native)
