Amy graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2023 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, minoring in Nutritional Sciences. During her degree, she found a passion for working with individuals with spinal cord injuries and others within the disability community through extensive work with participants at the Physical Activity Research Centre (PARC) at ICORD. Her past experience as a professional ballet dancer and Pilates instructor also informs her current practice as a kinesiologist. Outside of work, you can find Amy training for her next half-marathon, taking ballet and yoga classes, and walking her dog.
