Please note: Lisa does not provide pregnancy massage or full-body relaxation massage I have always been fascinated by the human body and its incredible ability to heal, adapt, and compensate. After more than 17 years in practice, I am still continually inspired by the complexity of the body and its capacity for change. My career in Massage Therapy began in 2008 and quickly grew into a lifelong passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and reconnect with their bodies. In 2025, I became certified as a Manual Osteopathic Therapist, expanding my education and clinical approach to better understand how structural and functional imbalances can contribute to pain, dysfunction, and overall health concerns. This additional training has strengthened my ability to assess the body as an interconnected system and support clients in reaching their therapeutic goals. I believe one of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping clients better understand their bodies and recognize their own ability to heal and recover. As a lifelong learner, I continue to expand my education in manual therapy and body-based treatment approaches, including Myofascial Techniques, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Osteoarticular techniques, and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET). I have a strong interest in anatomy, physiology, and understanding how the body’s many structural relationships can influence pain, injury patterns, movement restrictions, and chronic dysfunction. During an initial visit, I perform a thorough assessment using a variety of clinical tests to identify structural and functional imbalances within the body. I place a strong emphasis on education, body awareness, and understanding the bigger picture—considering lifestyle, stress, movement patterns, and other contributing factors that may affect your current health. From there, I create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs, goals, and where your body is at in that moment. My treatment approach may incorporate: Myofascial Techniques Osteoarticular Techniques Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) Visceral Manipulation Cranial Sacral Therapy I have experience supporting clients with repetitive strain injuries, chronic tension, postural dysfunction, TMJ issues, migraines and headaches, autoimmune-related concerns, stress-related conditions, and perimenopause/menopause-related changes. My goal as a therapist is to help clients improve function, reduce pain, increase body awareness, and support long-term health and wellness in a realistic, sustainable way. Outside of the clinic, I can usually be found exploring the Tri-Cities with my greyhound Rowan, weight training, doing Pilates, travelling and spending time with friends I look forward to supporting you on your health and wellness journey. In health, Lisa Ryan, RMT
