Zoe is currently on medical leave until October and treatments will be covered by the fantastic practitioner, Naomi Takata. Zoe received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Massachusetts. She has four years experience working as an assistant with Kiiko Matsumoto, a world-renowned Japanese acupuncturist. She founded a program providing acupuncture, bodywork, Tai Chi and Qi Gong to the Uphams Corner Elderly Services Program, an integrative PACE program for low-income high-needs elderly patients in Boston. Zoe has worked with All Care hospice, using guided meditation along with acupuncture to improve quality of life and ease suffering in both the mind and body. Zoe has done extensive continuing education and additional training in fertility, pregnancy and pediatrics. She is also licensed to prescribe Chinese herbs for a wide range of conditions. Zoe is a certified practitioner of Shiatsu, which she began studying in Japan in 2006. Her close understanding of Japanese culture greatly informs her practice.
