Emmanuel Augustine is a confident, result driven individual with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changes. He is highly committed and dedicated towards delivering excellence in physical rehabilitation and recovery, and can provide insightful guidance and support to optimize patients’ overall health and wellness. He has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Bangalore, India and his MSc. in Physiotherapy from Sheffield, U.K. He has previous work experience as a Physiotherapist in various hospitals in India and also worked with an N.G.O in Mauritius. He has been working as a Physiotherapist in Calgary since 2020, and he wants to continue to build and expand his clinical knowledge and expertise in the field of Physiotherapy. He is conversant with techniques such as Maitland’s Manual therapy, P.N.F, M.E.T and Kinesiotaping. He helps his patients to achieve their physical health goals by incorporating evidence based physiotherapy approaches, education, home exercise programs and self-management strategies. He has the ability to work either independently or as a team member and thereby liaise efficiently with other health care professionals to develop suitable treatment plans. He has interest to treat Concussion, Vestibular disorders, MVA’s, acute/chronic injuries, muscle/joint/ligament injuries and post-surgical cases. He has recently completed Level I Function Dry Needling Course in Calgary and is keen to utilize the skill in his treatment for patient care. He is enthusiastic about listening to music, watch/play soccer and cricket. He also likes hiking, camping and biking during summer time. During his free time, he likes to spend it with his friends and family.

This appointment includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and goals, followed by a personalized treatment plan. Therapy is included during the initial assessment and may involve education, exercises, manual therapy techniques, and strategies to help improve bladder and bowel control, pelvic pain, pelvic organ support, and overall pelvic health.
