Robbi completed both his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at UBC. Throughout his life, Robbi has been extremely active and participated in numerous sports growing up. His passion has always been soccer and he won a national championship with the Capilano University Men’s Soccer team. Robbi is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and thus recognizes the importance of optimal strength and movement patterns in the mitigation of future injuries. In 2019 he completed his Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through UBC and conducted a research study on ACL injuries and Blood Flow Restriction Training for his school dissertation. His treatment philosophy involves a combination of manual therapy, exercise and movement re-education to restore full, pain-free function. He also focuses on bridging the gap between rehabilitation and return to sport. Robbi enjoys treating the general public as well as athletes of all levels to return his clients to work, leisure, and sports. He has travelled with a local youth soccer team touring Europe acting as their team physiotherapist. This, along with his experience working as a strength coach with the local soccer and track and field communities has generated a special interest in treating sports injuries. Areas of interest: Foot/Ankle, Knee/ACL injuries, Shoulder, Sports Injuries/Return to Sport Rehab.
