Welcome to Zentimate Moon Massage & Bodywork! My name is Desi and I'm a Certified Massage Therapist and Health Educator. As an artist and enthusiast of affirmations, self-care, meditation, breath-work, and tranquil environments it's no surprise that I was called to the art of massage therapy. During massage and bodywork sessions, clients will experience grounded, peaceful energy in a beautifully curated atmosphere, often accompanied by soft indigo or "Zen-digo" lighting alongside Northern Lights visuals with lofi meditative-chill beats. Pressure needs are determined by each individuals' body and flow of the session is slow to moderate paced with a gentle, intuitive and warming touch. This is the Zentimate Moon vibe! At Zentimate Moon Massage, some specialties include Swedish / traditional relaxation massage, Foot Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, CBD Massage, Myofascial Therapy (MFT), Energy Work, and Rocking & Shaking. Additional add-on services such as satin face-cradle aromatherapy are also available upon request for increased therapeutic care. We are conveniently located in the Fruitvale area of Oakland and accessible by public transportation. There is also plenty of free neighborhood parking available.
Massage
Swedish: Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits, ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation. ___Deep Tissue: Designed to remove severe tension, and to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
