Jonathan Zhang is a Registered Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a registered member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. He has advanced training in Chinese Medicine from some famous masters of Chinese Medicine in China and have finished Doctor of TCM program at International College of Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. As a health care practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Jonathan’s specialty is acute and chronic pain, digestive disorders, skin disorders, insomnia and women’s health. Rather than chasing signs and symptoms, his goal is to uncover the root cause of an ailment, employing a multi-tiered and integrative approach through means of treating the body, mind and spirit. He has a passion to explain to his patients about the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in a clear and concise manner to allow his patients comfort, confidence, and involvement in their treatment and healing. He helps his patients by providing individualized effective treatments which can include acupuncture, cupping, Tuina(massage), Scraping(Gua Sha), acupressure massage and Electrical Stimulation, as well as food cures(diet changes) . He also has advanced training in Chinese Pediatric Massage, which effectively can treat many childhood ailments, such as the common cold, cough, eczema, vomiting, nausea, constipation and diarrhea.
