Dr. Stefano Augurusa graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to attending Chiropractic College, he studied at The University of Toronto where he received his Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours. Dr. Augurusa is further certified in Medical Acupuncture and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Dr. Augurusa is a registered member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. Dr. Augurusa utilizes a combination of evidence based techniques, including Spinal Manipulative Therapy, Joint Mobilizations, Soft Tissue Therapy, custom Orthotics, Medical Acupuncture and Exercise Rehabilitation. This Diversified technique is effective in treating a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal ailments, from high level athletes to the general population. Dr. Augurusa advocates for patient education and empowerment during treatment sessions. His focus on individualized, patient centred care helps to effectively decrease pain, increase function, and improve overall quality of life. In his spare time, Dr. Augurusa can be found spending time with family and friends, playing sports and enjoying the outdoors.
