Tom has been practicing as an RMT in Orleans since graduating from CDI College in 2005. He has taken additional Deep Tissue Massage courses, which allow him to safely provide treatments for clients who are seeking out deeper pressure. He has also completed training in Lymphatic Drainage. When not at work, Tom is busy raising his three children with his wife or working with physically disabled adults in the community. In any spare time he can find, he enjoys camping with the family or a watching a good rugby match. Tom has his Blue Cross provider number.
Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage is treatment that is more focused on dealing with a specific issue or injury. The pressure and technique will vary depending on the individual, but the goal is resolution of the issue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff neck, back and shoulders, TMJ, Sciatica, Tendonitis, and other overuse injuries. The treatment can be uncomfortable, so communicate with your therapist during the treatment and to report any lasting discomfort post-treatment.
