Tara is the lead acupuncturist at Durham Integrative Health and Acupuncture clinic. She has been practicing massage and bodywork since 1995, studying herbal medicine since 1996 and began her training in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in 2011. Tara loves coming to work, loves what she does and truly believes in the body’s ability to heal itself through acupuncture, bodywork, herbs, nutrition and deepening our connections to ourselves, our communities and the earth.

Initial Intake and Treatment

This initial treatment will take about 80 minutes and will include traditional Chinese medical diagnosis, discussion of pertinent medical history, first treatment with any combination of acupuncture, bodywork. If booking with Tara, this appointment includes nutritional and herbal consults This appointment requires a deposit if booked online that will be used towards the first visit cost.
