Kim is excited to be apart of and start Van Sports and Physiotherapy team! She has been working in the downtown core since 2009 after re-locating to B.C. from Ontario, and looks forward to many more years working in the area. As a physiotherapist, Kim’s goal is to identify source of dysfunction with a thorough assessment and provide the best possible combination of treatment techniques to get you back to your chosen activity as quickly as possible at the levels you’re used to achieving. Kim loves that her work allows her to treat people of any activity level. Weekend warriors, athletes, or people living out life free of athletic pursuit will all find themselves in good hands with Kim’s treatment style. Sprains and strains, the agony of returning to activity or the nagging aches of desk work all receive the same focused attention to get you back to optimal living as soon as possible. Whatever your goals, she believes an individualized treatment plan to your body’s specific needs will be the most successful. Kim has enjoyed the opportunity of working with various levels of elite athletes. She worked with the 2012 Olympic Canadian women’s soccer team during their training camp in preparation for their bronze medal showing in London. She has also provided her services to BC rugby in support of the U23 women’s and U18 men’s teams. The opportunity to address the strains of training and providing preventative and rehabilitative treatment of the athletes showed her what proper consistent treatment can do for top athletes. She also enjoys participating at local sporting events like Seek the Peak, beach soccer and giving educational sessions to local running groups.
