Senior Acupuncturist at CWTCM White Rock. He graduated with a master’s degree in China. He studied under Professor Sun, a national master of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and has 30 years of clinical experience in China and Canada. He is currently the president of the British Columbia Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioners (atcma.org) and the Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling Association of Canada (fsnac.ca). He is also an acupuncture instructor in the Traditional Chinese Medicine department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). He is good at using various acupuncture techniques, such as scalp acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, and myofascial trigger point acupuncture, and is especially good at Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling (FSN) therapy. In clinical practice, he uses a combination of several effective acupuncture methods to treat various pain conditions, sports injuries, and pain after car accidents in a targeted manner based on the patient’s different conditions. The results are often obvious after one or two sessions, which has helped many patients with intractable pain who have sought medical treatment without success. He also has unique effects on stroke rehabilitation, essential tremor, aphasia, and other neurological diseases. Over the past few years, he has trained nearly a hundred acupuncturists to use FSN therapy in the Greater Vancouver area, enabling many newly graduated acupuncturists to find their career positions with skills and confidence quickly.
