Angela joined the Waterloo Sports Medicine (WSM) team at RIM Park in 2009, bringing a lifelong passion for sports medicine and movement. She holds an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario (2007) and earned her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2009. Angela’s diverse clinical background spans both athletic care and specialized knowledge in pediatric care, backed by published research in Pediatric Physical Therapy (2010). Ultimately, her passion for sports medicine led her to WSM, where she helps athletes of all ages and levels safely return to the sports and activities they love. Committed to clinical excellence, Angela regularly pursues continuing education to provide her patients with the latest evidence-based care. Her advanced training includes: Acupuncture, Manual Therapy and Myofascial Release, Taping and joint-specific rehabilitation courses. Outside of the clinic, Angela stays highly active through swimming, Pilates, and ultimate frisbee, alongside her love for hiking, running, and soccer. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her husband and children.
