Joy Dees, DPT, co-founded Vessel PT and Wellness in Lake Martin, AL. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samford University in 2020 and began her career in outpatient orthopedics in Birmingham. In 2021, Joy moved to Montgomery, where she developed a strong interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Dedicated to continuous learning, Joy holds certifications in pelvic floor therapy from Herman and Wallace and in Dry Needling from the AAOMT. Beyond her professional commitments, Joy actively contributes to her community as a member of the Samford Alumni Executive Board and as President of the Kensington Foundation. She is deeply involved in mission work with the Chikonidi Foundation in Malawi, Africa, and frequently speaks at local events promoting health and wellness. An enthusiastic supporter of Auburn athletics, Joy stays fit and enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and three godchildren.
Following initial evaluation, these appointments can be scheduled. Treatment may include but is not limited to: dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, manual stretching, neuromuscular education and therapeutic exercise.
