Dr. Zachary Serven is a board certified chiropractor in the Chicagoland area. He specializes in diversified technique, Torque Release Technique, gait rehabilitation and advanced soft tissue techniques. Dr. Zach is a second-generation chiropractor, behind his father. He has always had a passion for chiropractic care, not only from growing up around it, but also through his own personal experience as an athlete. Dr. Zach utilized chiropractic care throughout his 15-year soccer career, keeping him healthy and his injury times to a minimum. He believes in utilizing a whole body approach and tries to incorporate diet and lifestyle changes into his treatment protocols. Education: Dr. Zachary Serven graduated from the University of Findlay (Findlay, OH) in December 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, where he majored in Biology with a Chemistry minor. Dr. Zach then went on to graduate as Valedictorian from National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, IL) with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in August of 2017. He is board certified from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in parts I, II, III, IV, and physical therapy as of July 2017. Dr. Zach has several certifications including training in Flexion Distraction technique, Torque Release Technique, several from RockTape including taping, instrument assisted soft tissue, movement specialist, cupping, and vibration therapy. He is a certified Gait Guru through GaitHappens. His speciality allows him to analyze gait (walking patterns) to help determine how this affects joint breakdown and tension in the body due to poor biomechanics. He is one of a very select few with the certification in the Chicagoland area. When Dr. Zach is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Krista, and his two dogs. He has recently found a passion with cooking and loves to experiment with different foods to help accommodate for his wife’s food allergies.
