South Shore Physiotherapy
105-42 Glen Allan Dr., Bridgewater, NS, B4V 3N2
Chris grew up in Shelburne and after some time away he has just moved back to the South Shore. He attended St. FX and completed a BSc in Human Kinetics in 2005. After that he spent 3 years in Omaha, Nebraska and was awarded a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009. He then settled in Abbotsford, British Columbia where he was practicing in multidisciplinary clinics with some very accomplished mentors over the last 12 years. Being an avid sports fan, Chris felt fortunate to have the opportunity to work with many professional, Olympic, collegiate and high school athletes during his time in BC. As far as continued learning is concerned Chris completed the coursework and examination process to receive his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. With that he became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. He also took part in further training at the University of British Columbia in GunnIMS (intramuscular stimulation), a form of dry needling. Chris has taken many other courses, attended and delivered in-services in various physiotherapy related topics over his years of practice. He and his family are excited to be back in Nova Scotia and serve the South Shore for years to come!
