Michael Hales is the owner of Halestorm Physiotherapy & Sport Conditioning. He is a graduate of the Masters of Physical Therapy program from UBC and has post graduate certifications in Acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). His treatment philosophy is based on finding the underlying factors that are driving dysfunction and integrating functional exercise in order to build resilience and optimal movement. Michael, a proud father of two, is a three time Ironman Triathlon finisher, an avid runner, skier, golfer and enjoys playing hockey and tennis.
Massage
Our 30 min Physio Massage is a therapeutic soft tissue experience designed to release and relax tight muscles, improve circulation and restore optimal joint movement. This session is great for targeting a specific area of the body or recovering the body after an exercise session.
Physiotherapy
Our 55 minute Active Physiotherapy is for a Functional Exercise session, with a focus on injury prevention, sport performance or active rehabilitation. Treatment modalities are not available during these sessions.
